- 1965 - Raymond Cinema built and operated as segregated cinema
- 1965 - Auditorium fell into disrepair and foyer used as shopfront
- 2000 - Building purchased by Nambucca Shire Council and Bowraville
- 2003 - Grand opening of new venue for live shows and cinema
- 2015 - New digital projector with surround sound installed
- 2018 - Major upgrade of sound and lighting equipment

Bowraville Theatre is located in the historic Verandah Town of Bowraville one of the Creative Communities of the Mid North Coast.
The Theatre is managed, run and staffed by volunteers and is the home of the Bowraville Arts Council.
