Volunteer

All training will be provided, membership is necessary to cover your insurance. Come and join our great team of volunteers, you will enjoy being part of this community group. Our existing theatre volunteers are eager to welcome new members and are keen to share their skills and experience, and we of course welcome new skills and experience to our team. We look forward to meeting you soon. If you have any queries please give us a call or simply fill out the membership form and indicate your preference of role.

  • Front of House – There are a few roles for you to consider; Box office ticket sales, rosters, welcoming our patrons at the door, Café service / sales and ushering patrons to their seats.
  • Booking Events and Publicity – Finding the next event, managing events, marketing and publicity these are all important aspects to keep the theatre viable, if you have vision then join us.
  • Technical Crew – State of the Art sound / lighting and digital projection, you will learn how to bring the stage alive with amazing visuals and sounds. We are fortunate to have an internationally acclaimed music producer / engineer in our volunteer team.
  • Grant Research / Writing – As we are a volunteer run and managed Community Theatre we rely on grants for various projects, if you have experience with researching and successfully writing Grants then we need you.
  • Backstage Crew – Learn the important behind the stage aspects and be part of the upkeep of this theatre.
